The NYC | Indie Film Collective is a member-run, non-profit (501c3 pending) organization made up of Actors, Artists, and Filmmakers dedicated to encourage, promote and support its members and local, regional, and international independent film production. The IFC began nine years ago, when our founder Joseph A. Eulo was an undergraduate studying film/media production at The New School in New York City. Joseph wanted to be find a community of artist who shared his passion for filmmaking. Unable to find one he created the Indie Film Collective. The mission of the IFC is to four fold: to support actors, artists, and filmmakers and encourage them to connect, create, and collaborate. To promote equality, respect, and diversity at every level. To celebrate indie filmmaking, its creators, cast and crew. To create a Diva / Ego free atmosphere, by promoting equality, respect, and diversity at every level. Since its inception, the Indie Film Collective has grown to over 5000 members worldwide, in chapters from New York City to Bangkok, England to Los Angeles and Atlanta to Dublin. The Indie Film Collective is more than a group. We are a movement of artists who represent seam change of new attitude within an industry that must change and deal with its artists with fairness, respect, and dignity. We support and celebrate independent filmmaking, their stories, and and the actor, artists, and filmmakers who make them.
